2025 Awards & Winners

This includes any LS29 business offering a professional service to the general public, such as property professionals, accountants, solicitors or similar.

The business must have a trading address in LS29.

Any individual/s running a “side hustle” venture where this isn’t the main source of income.  The Side Hustle must be a business and not just a hobby.

The venture must be based in LS29.

Any LS29 hair or beauty business including hair & beauty salons, individuals and manufacturers within the hair & beauty business sector.

Any LS29 business which is aimed at the leisure or tourism industry, such as theatres, cinemas, sports clubs, travel agents, hotels, accommodation providers, community centres or tourist attractions etc.

Any café which isn’t linked to a restaurant (restaurants are now featured in our Best Business to Consumer category) and is based in LS29.   You can be an independent café with just one trading address or you can be part of a larger chain or franchise, providing at least one café which trades in the LS29 area.

You may be in the hospitality business, or perhaps you may be a retailer, supermarket, restaurant, pub, bar or indeed any type of business dealing directly with the consumer.  Are you part of a larger chain or franchise, but with at least one trading address in LS29?  If so, you are also eligible to enter.

NB: This category excludes cafés, which has its own entry for 2025.

Any LS29 business of more than two individuals may enter this category for Ilkley Business Awards 2025.  This could be your Line Manager or someone you report to.

NB:  You cannot nominate yourself.  Please ensure you state your name plus the name of the Best Boss you are nominating.

Any LS29 business of at least two individuals may enter this category.  Do you have an outstanding new employee? Or perhaps a budding entrepreneur in your company?
